On June 4, associates and workers of AFEMAC (Association of Relatives and People with Mental Illness of Águilas and comarca) attended another year to the traditional concert that the music department of the Institute of Secondary Education "Europa" of our town performs in the facilities of the Infanta Elena Auditorium.
The concert was in charge of students of different ESO and Bachillerato courses, who interpreted well-known and popular musical themes.
Remember that a few years ago AFEMAC's own members actively participated in the event, when they sang along with the students the song "Kumbalawe", the overture of the show "Saltimbanco" of the Cirque du Soleil and that has become the "official anthem" of this concert.
We also want to highlight the magnificent coordination and organization of the event, which brought together more than three hundred students on stage, and finally, to thank IES Europe for inviting us one more year to this musical event that is already a benchmark of music and art in our locality.
