The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, together with the councilors of Agriculture and Training, Bartolo Hernández and Jose Manuel Gálvez, yesterday visited the students of the training course for treatments with phytosanitary products, organized by the City Council, together with the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences
It is an advanced level training program, aimed at team managers and farmers with auxiliary personnel under their charge, which has been developing in Águilas for the last three years;
a fact that Moreno described as very positive since previously, as explained by the mayor, "the participants had to travel to Lorca to do it with the inconveniences and the economic cost that it entailed for all of them." In this sense, the first mayor of Aguileña continued. - we set out to achieve that these courses will be developed in Águilas and after different negotiations we could make it so.The challenge now is that the training offer related to the agricultural sector be expanded and that is what we are working on ".
