The International University of the Sea organizes the course 'Fashion in the diet: trends or health ?, which will take place from 4 to 6 July at the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel de Águilas.
Food is a matter of continuous concern in our society, and a large part of the knowledge of it is based on commercial and advertising actions.
The fashions in the search for a perfect diet are conditioning eating disorders other than those known, as a result of the follow-up of erroneous eating norms that can cause both malnutrition and hypernutrition.
The objective of this course is to provide attendees with real knowledge about the benefits or harms of food, as well as to demystify 'miracle diets' that can have negative effects on our health.
The training is aimed at people related to health and nutrition as doctors, nursing professionals, nutritionists, dieticians, as well as anyone interested.
