Coral Discantus culminates its excellent season this Friday June 28 with an Anthology of the Zarzuela in guilas, it will be at 9:00 pm in the Auditorium Infanta Doa Elena de guilas
The Murcian choir, directed by ngel Carrillo, who has been performing for more than 20 years in the best stages of Spain and the world, ends with one of the most applauded musical styles by the public.
The choir has a very eclectic repertoire although its image is highly valued for its sacred and classical interpretations, although there has been no lack of salsa, jazz, or other musical styles.
The Anthology of the Zarzuela is the most international of all the Zarzuela shows that have been created in Spain.
Formerly under the direction of Jos Tamayo, the production toured the entire world, being the quarry of numerous professionals who, after passing through the Anthology, have developed important careers that have favored the development of our lyrical genre.

Thanks to the enormous success, the love, the commitment he has with this extraordinary genre, and the great memory of his parents walking around the world La Zarzuela, the great world-famous tenor Plcido Domingo offers his support to this project, being honorary president of the "Anthology of the Zarzuela.
There are 8 top-level soloists, 16 dancers from the best Spanish Ballet schools, 32 Orchestra teachers and a large number of production and production staff.
Almost 200 people work in this Anthology of the Zarzuela which has brought together the best young soloists in Spain.
In guilas we will have the opportunity to listen to the soprano Teresa Castal, the tenor Moiss Moln and the baritone Andrs del Pino, accompanied by the choir from Murcia Coral Discantus and the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, directed on this occasion by Mario Ortuo.
Unique experience
"Anthology of the Zarzuela" is a unique experience that can not be missed.
Of great memory is the participation of Discantus in the XVI Grand Gala of Zarzuela in Madrid, at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, which was also broadcast on national television.
In that anthological concert they accompanied the voices of the sopranos Beln Lpez and Ruth Iniesta, the tenors Carlos Moreno, Antonio Vzquez and Juanma Cifuentes and the Baritones Andrs del Pino and Quique Bustos, as well as Lucero Tena and the singer Joana Jimnez.
Unforgettable also the lyric gala in January 2017 in the auditorium of Murcia with the soprano Ainhoa Arteta with opera and zarzuela pieces, such as La Revoltosa, Romanza de Mirentxu from El Casero, O mio babbino caro and El Barberillo de Lavapis, between others
