Águilas welcomes from yesterday the summer camp for children and youth with diabetes, organized by the Murcia Regional Federation of Diabetic Associations (FREMUD).

The main objective of the camp aimed at children with diabetes between six and 15 years old is to offer the participants the necessary tools so that they learn to be more autonomous and accept their disease better.

In the same develop several workshops that teach doctors, nurses and nutritionists, in which participants learn to improve their health habits.

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was in charge of welcoming the nearly fifty participants who will enjoy the town until next Sunday.
