The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Town Planning mayor, Tomás Consentino, visited the different works, included in the Works and Services Plan (Pos), which are being carried out in the town.

These works are being carried out in the streets: Federico Chueca, José María Pereda, Joaquín Sorolla, Méndez Núñez, Manuel de Falla and Isaac Albéniz, all of them in the stretches between Calle Iberia and Muñoz Calero prolongation.

During the visit, the head of the local executive stressed that "these actions, with a cost close to 280,000 euros, include actions paving of roads and also replacement of sidewalks."

Likewise, new connections have also been made in various facilities, sidewalks have been moved to improve the accessibility of the area and will be used to install both vertical and horizontal road signs.
