Last Sunday, the Brotherhood Rociera de Águilas celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Plaza Virgen del Rocío and the first Simpecado with the discovery of a plaque with the silhouette of the Virgen del Rocío in the aforementioned plaza in charge of the first mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, the older brother of the aquiline rocieros, Fernando Gallego, and the Brotherhood's consiliario, Manuel Amatriaín.

After the event, the Simpecado departed in procession to the church of San José where a Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in which the choir of the Brotherhood participated.

After the Mass of Thanksgiving, Rafael Sáez, Aguilas' first preacher during the inauguration of the Plaza del Rocio, 25 years ago, returned to Águilas where he delighted all present with a beautiful Rociera Exaltation.
