An act attended by, among others, the mayor of the city, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Seguridad Ciudadana, Tomás Consentino, and the president of the Red Cross in Águilas, Miguel Molina.
In statements to the media present at the event, both the mayor of the city and the president of the Red Cross agreed to congratulate all the troops that participate in the operation in the municipality and made an appeal to the prudence of the aquilines and visitors to respect the color of the flags and the indications of the rescuers, since skipping a ban like the red flag also endangers the integrity of the rescuers.
The Spanish Red Cross in Águilas is the organization that contributes a greater number of members to the Copla Plan of the City Council, since among professionals and volunteers they add about 80 troops that provide coverage in the 14 beaches of the municipality that have permanent surveillance during the 11 to 19 hours.
Added to this is the dynamic surveillance with vehicles of the rapid intervention group for the 28 kilometers of the aquiline coastline and the medical team in a VIR that will assist the emergencies and emergencies that occur, mainly on the coast, and that will be operative for the purposes of week and holidays of July and August from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
