The mayor of Economic Development, José Manuel Gálvez, has valued this morning the latest data published by the Employment and Training Service of the Murcia SEF, which recorded an annual decrease of 56 people from 2,251 unemployed in June 2018 to 2,195 in the same period of the current year.
Comparing the data referring to the previous month (May), unemployment in Águilas has also registered a decrease of 27 people.
In this sense, the councilor recalled that, although it is true that the municipalities do not have skills in matters of job creation, what they can is to work to encourage it "and that is what we are working on" he said.
To conclude the councilman, he has shown his commitment to continue working on policies to reactivate employment, facilitating companies to install in our town, promoting tourism and, ultimately, developing actions that involve the creation of jobs in our town .
