The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, yesterday held a working meeting in Águilas in which they discussed different aspects of interest for the region.
"We are convinced that it is essential that we work together in certain areas in order to offer a better service to citizens and also to make our resources more profitable," said Moreno after the meeting.
Health has been one of the topics that has occupied a good part of this meeting;
on this matter both mayors have agreed on "the need to sue the regional government for health improvements for the residents of this region."
Another point that they have also described as very necessary is the improvement of the railway infrastructures, the schedules and the services something that the mayor has stated- "we will continue to demand the Government of Spain".
