Initially, this unit will work with a dog that has been trained in the detection of narcotic substances.
His duties, highlighted the chief deputy inspector, José Luis Sánchez, "will be, mainly, the control of retail in the vicinity of schools, public transit places, citizen security operations, Carnival ... as well as collaboration in Civil Guard records and National Police. "
For his part, the mayor of Citizen Security, Tomás Consentino, stressed that "this is another step in the modernization of the Local Police that will contribute to the improvement of security in our municipality."
