Next week the rehabilitation work on the so-called "train machine" concludes;
a locomotive of the Lorca-Baza-Águilas line that, since its installation in front of the Fishing Port in 1970, has been one of the most emblematic monuments of the town.
Yesterday, the mayor of Culture and Quality in Services, Maido Simó and Isabel Fernández, respectively, supervised the work accompanied by the municipal archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, who stressed that "the action is being carried out respecting the original aspect of the locomotive" .
