Next Thursday, day 1, the XXIV edition of Mirando al Mar begins;
a series of conferences included in the program that the International University of the Sea develops every summer in Águilas.
The paper "Sentinels of the sea: citizen science to measure the effects of climate change on the marine environment", by José Antonio García Chartón, will mark the beginning of this edition, presented this morning by its director, Jorge Novella, and the mayor of Culture, Maido Simó.
"Miguel Fisac, architect of Las Delicias", by architect Simón Ángel Ros Perán will be the presentation on Wednesday 7.
On Friday 9th, she will be the professor of Classical Philology, María José García, in charge of addressing issues related to "The sea at the table: the cuisine of fish in ancient times."
The lecture "French and English in the mining boom in Águilas" (Tuesday 13), offered by Miguel López Morell, will complete this lecture series.
All conferences will take place at the Casa de la Cultura at 20 hours.
