In this sense, the mayor of the area, María Dolores García, described this initiative as "vital" taking into account the very long waiting list for this service, which as of July 8 had a waiting list of 312 patients, which it supposes "the dilation in the time of the beginning of the prescribed treatment, causing secondary problems to the pathology for which it is prescribed. After the plenary session, the mayor of Health was skeptical about the justification that the councilors of the Popular Party had given to vote against, claiming that the extension of the workforce will take place next September.

On this matter, García pointed out that "we would be glad to know that, as a result of knowing the motion we were going to present to the Plenary, the Area III management would have decided to provide that unit with a more full-time physiotherapist, but what What is strange to us is that, at the date of the Plenary, neither the Nursing Department of the Aguilas Norte Health Center, nor the workers of the unit know anything about it.
