Yesterday concluded the Family Respite Program, launched by the Department of Social Services and Education of the City of Águilas, with an event held at the Urci Occupational Center in which the delivery of diplomas to children took place during the entire July have participated in this summer school.
The event was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Social Services, María Dolores García, and the president of the Occupational Center, Josefa López.
The participating children, all of them with disabilities, have enjoyed during the whole month a summer school adapted to their needs in which, among other things, they have been able to acquire the benefits that leisure reports;
while "their families have found a respite to reconcile work and family life in this month in which the centers of origin of these children close their doors for holidays," said the mayor of the town.
