The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has asked the president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, a meeting to address different aspects that the mayor has described as "vital" for the municipality.
In this regard Moreno has indicated that among the issues that he hopes to be able to deal with the head of the Regional Executive is the situation of the High Resolution Integral Center, the expansion of the offer of training courses of Middle and Higher Grade related to the productive activity of the locality, as well as the need for the definitive approval of the General Urban Planning Plan of the municipality.
"Already in the last legislature we repeatedly requested that these three issues be expedited, which we consider fundamental for our municipality, without obtaining an answer. My position, as mayor, is to continue suing the regional government, for being the one with the powers , what I think is justice for the aquiline, "said the mayor.
To conclude, the first mayor of Aguileña has expressed to the president her offer "for both administrations to set an example of collaboration and institutional loyalty to carry out matters of interest for Águilas and for Aguileños and Aguileñas."
