an event that, according to Local Police estimates, was followed by about 35,000 people who gathered in the town under the slogan "Love whoever you want and know what you feel. Aguilas loves you!"
Framed in a clear festive atmosphere, the first Aguileño Pride came loaded with vindication, struggle and activism in a demonstration in which a total of ten floats took part and that opened a banner in which "Not one step back" could be read.
The day began in the square of Antonio Cortijos with an act conducted by Jessy and Zaffyro in which all attendees could hear the proclamation by Master Joao.
The councilors of Equality and Celebrations, Elena Casado and Cristóbal Casado, in charge of the organization of the Pride also took the floor, who agreed to point out the claiming nature of a party that aims to highlight aspects as important as diversity, tolerance and Respect and thanked, in addition, to all the groups and the Federation of Carnival Clubs for their collaboration for the realization of this event.
