The Department of Education of the City of Águilas has invested a little more than 80,000 euros in the repair and conditioning of the local schools.
Some actions that are being developed during the holiday period and with which it seeks to respond to the needs transmitted by the Management Teams of the centers in the meetings held before the end of the course.
Mainly they have been painting, window and blind arrangements, carpentry work, replacement of flooring, repair of coatings and, even, in some center has proceeded to the construction of a toilet in the area of ​​Children.
The mayor and the mayor of Education, Mari Carmen Moreno and Francis Gallego, who have recently visited all the public schools in the town in order to supervise the actions carried out, have reminded that the maintenance that is carried out is added to these works throughout the course and amounting to about 120,000 euros per year.
