The House of Culture hosted yesterday the act Memory and Dignity, organized by the associations Democratic Memory of Águilas and Alumbra Alumbre de Mazarrón, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Águilas.
The day, with the figure of the former Republican councilor and victim of the Franco dictatorship, Ricardo Aullón Paredes, as the protagonist, started with the presentation of the book "Proceedings of the III Alumbra Alumbre Days" which includes the article "Ricardo Aullón : an aquiline mason victim of Franco's repression "of the aquiline historian Pedro Javier López.
The event concluded with a musical tribute to the victims of the Franco dictatorship, by the singer-songwriter Vicente Palao, and the posthumous recognition of the figure of Ricardo Aullón that his son Manolo Aullón picked up excitedly.
