This Saturday, August 24, 800 athletes from the veteran, youth, cadet and children categories participated in the XXXVII International Night Race Mayor of Águilas, organized by the Municipal Sports Board of Águilas.
The center of the town became the athletic track where Blal Mohammed, of the Artynion Athletic Club of Getafe, managed to take first place in the men's 10,000 meters, with a time of 30'26 '', followed by the Argentine Miguel Angel Barzola Esteve, with 30'55``.
The third place of this elite test went to the Moroccan Aimane Eddaifi, who invested 31'25 ''.
Yesica Mas Castany, from CA, won the women's 5000 meters
Alicante, with a time of 17'54 '', followed by Laura Sola Tari, of the Elche Athletic Club, with a time of 18'41 ''.
The third place was occupied by Wafiya Benali, of CA Morocco, who reached the finish line in 18'59 ''.
The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, kicked off and handed the trophies to the winning athletes, along with the mayor of Sports, Cristóbal Casado.
