The City of Águilas, through the Mobility Department, has joined the European Mobility Week 2019, within which it is organizing an offer of citizen awareness activities that will take place from September 16 to 22 in different parts of the town and that will be announced in a few days.

This year, the theme chosen is "Walking and pedaling safely" with the slogan "Walk and pedal with us!".

With this initiative, we want to raise awareness about the negative consequences of the indiscriminate use of the car in the city, both for public health and for the environment, as well as the benefits of using more sustainable modes of transport such as public transport , bicycle and travel on foot.
