The Bankia Symphony Orchestra (OSB) performed this Saturday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Infanta Doña Elena de Águilas Auditorium and Conference Center during its fall cycle.
The same was attended by the Territorial Director of Murcia, Olga García Sanz;
the Commercial Territorial Director, Luis Antón;
the Head of the Lorca Zone, Andrés Cabrera, as well as the mayor of Águilas María del Carmen Moreno and a large group of members of the Municipal Corporation together with the regional deputy, Rosalía Casado.
The Bankia Symphony Orchestra is a project of the entity whose objective is to spread the musical culture and promote the employment of young musicians.
In Águilas he offered a concert in which pieces of some of the most relevant figures in the history of music were performed.
The young musicians who form the Bankia Symphony Orchestra performed, under the direction of maestro José Sanchís, the 'Oberturas y arias' by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the 'Sinfonía n.7 en La mayor, op.92' by Ludwig van Beethoven.
The corporate director of the Bankia Territorial in Murcia and Alicante, Olga García, said "the quality and professionalism of young people, between 22 and 31 years old, who are part of the Bankia Symphony Orchestra".
Similarly, Aguilas Mayor Mari Carmen Moreno thanked the entity for choosing Águilas for one of the 15 concerts she has scheduled in her different cycles.
In addition, it has valued "the financial entity's support for an orchestra that promotes the musical talent of young people, their continuous training, as well as the labor insertion of elite instrumentalists."
For his part, the musical director of the orchestra, José Sanchís, has assured that "for the OSB it is an illusion and a great responsibility to act at the Infanta Doña Elena Auditorium and Conference Center and be able to show in Águilas the work and musical talent of the young orchestra. "
"We are sure that you will enjoy the wonderful repertoire and that we have prepared so dearly," he said.
The Bankia Symphony Orchestra brings music as a universal language to the whole of Spanish society, promoting and disseminating its musical, symphonic, lyrical or chamber music activities.
The OSB, composed of a total of 52 musicians specialized in clarinet, double bass, bassoon, flute, oboe, trombones, tubes, trumpet, violas, violins, cello and timbale, offers the promotion and support to its members, through the activity Professional and collaboration of soloists of recognized prestige, national and international.
In addition to this concert in Águilas, the Bankia Symphony Orchestra performed on Friday 20th at the Maestro Padilla Municipal Auditorium in Almeria and on Sunday, the 22nd, offered a concert at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada.
