Izquierda Unida-Verdes de Águilas has called a General Assembly to renew its local address.

After five years at the helm of the organization, Pedro Hernández concluded his stage as coordinator, giving the relief to Oscar Pérez Pombo, who was unanimously elected.

The new coordinator is a young 35-year-old from Aguila, a worker in a department store.

Affiliated to the United Left and the Communist Party of Spain since 2013, he has been number 2 candidate for training in the 2015 and 2019 municipal elections.

The Assembly concluded with thanks to Pedro Hernández for his "work and dedication in defense of the popular sectors of Aguila."
