The Plenary Session of the City Council of Águilas approves the cession of the land so that the State Coastal Demarcation, under the Ministry for Ecological Transition, makes the access stairs to the Yellow Beach.
After a long time behind this project, the extraordinary plenary session last Tuesday gave the green light to the cession of the land to be the State Coastal Demarcation, under the Ministry for Ecological Transition, who executes said action.
The Yellow Beach, with its peculiar characteristics, makes this enclave an important tourist attraction that had the construction of these stairs pending, since its access runs along the mountainside and poses a danger to some people who saw the beach as inaccessible .
Its construction has been demanded for many years by different government teams, it will soon be a reality thanks to the Government of Spain.
This infrastructure will be built respecting the aesthetics of the environment and we can enjoy it from next summer.
