Next Saturday, October 19, Woyzeck, from the company Crudest Theater, will raise the curtain of the XVI edition of the National Contest of Amateur Theater Paco Rabal.
This prestigious event is completed with La Viña de Paraskenia Theater (October 26), Huanita is Theater Under Construction (November 2) and the musical, tribute to The Miserable, The sun rises by La Barbarie Musical Theater (November 10 ).
During the presentation of the same, the mayor of Culture, Maido Simó, emphasized the closing of this important artistic event that will take place on November 23 with the staging of The funeral with Concha Velasco and Jordi Rebellón.
Parallel to this theatrical Contest and for the fifth consecutive year, the OFF Rabal Performing Arts Festival will be held, under the direction of Fran Giménez.
The actions planned for Off Rabal include a special session of the Teatringos with puppets and the Cucu-tras puppet construction workshop, which will be followed by the "Puppet Theater" conference, by Concha González and Jesús Galera (27 October).
On November 8 the performance will take place The dancer who always danced and on November 15 The life of Octavia.
