The mayor of guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Agriculture, Bartolo Hernndez, recently visited the land on which it is planned to locate the composting plant that will make possible the revaluation of agricultural waste and that will therefore mean the end of the burning of these remains.
Moreno and Hernndez, who visited the area accompanied by the promoters of this project, said that "after the approval at the last Government Board of the file of social interest of this project, it is now in Territorial Planning, a government agency of the Region of Murcia, which must give the final approval for its construction ".
During the visit the mayor, the mayor and the promoters of this initiative agreed on the urgency of being able to execute this plant that will mean ending a problem that affects not only farmers but also the rest of the citizens of guilas.
This composting plant, whose location has been chosen by a land located in the area of La Pica, will not only end the burning, but will also involve the production of by-products that will return to the ground.
After the visit, the first mayor of Aguilea said that "it is a commitment of this Government Team to put an end to the burning of agricultural waste in our town and we have been working on this through the Local Agrarian Council for more than two years."
