The team made up of Borja Rodríguez and Miguel Ángel López was part of the team that the renowned coach of Águilas, Automotor 4x4, presented to face the offroad raid rally in the desert of Morocco from October 11 to 18.
This competition has sought its inspiration in the ancient African Dakar where men and women and their machines faced the inhospitable desert to the limit.
The high level of preparation of the registered teams is a sign of the competitiveness of the test.
The hardness of the desert and the physical and mental fatigue to which the participants were subjected for more than 2,500 kilometers put the teams in serious trouble during six elaborate stages.
Traffic jams, navigation, breakdowns and a hundred imponderable circumstances fulfilled their objective: to take pilots and machines to the limit.
Borja and Michelangelo, assisted by the 4x4 Automotive mechanic team and at the controls of their impressive Toyota Land Cruiser, a Dakar veteran, won victors.
