The City of Águilas, through the Department of Health, has initiated a campaign for the drainage of the sewerage network that will begin next Monday and will continue until November 19, extending to all urban centers of the municipality of Eagles.
The objective of this action - assured the mayor of Health, María Dolores García - is to develop a shock plan that works as a complement to the actions that, in specific areas and attending to specific needs, are carried out periodically once per week
"This general deratization of the entire municipality, together with specific actions, seeks to control and prevent the proliferation of rodents," said the mayor.
From the Department of Health have insisted on the importance of these actions are completed with citizen awareness.
"It is essential that the schedules of garbage removal are respected and that garbage is avoided on public roads, since this type of incivious attitudes favor the appearance of rodents and insects in our municipality."
