Looije, the agricultural company specialized in the production and marketing of cherry tomatoes, participated last week in the latest edition of Fruit Attraction, the prestigious fruit and vegetable fair held in IFEMA (Madrid) and in which professionals gathered from, according to calculations of the organization, 130 different countries.
Sarita, the brand that gives its name to the main product of the firm, was the protagonist of a stand in which, in addition to receiving information about this fruit or the new facilities of Looije, visitors could taste cherry tomatoes, both round and type ' pear ', during the three days that the fair lasted.
Visits of authorities
In them, the employees displaced to Madrid attended the visit of consumers, customers, farmers attached to the Looije Producers Organization and personalities of the political sphere.
Among the authorities that were present at the stand of the company, are the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras;
the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment, Antonio Luengo;
the general secretary of the PSRM and former government delegate in the Region, Diego Conesa;
and the Councilor for Agriculture of the City of Águilas, Bartolomé Hernández, who highlighted "the good reception among the public" of cherry tomato Sarita.
"Fruit Attraction is growing more and more every year with more pavilions and an influx of public," said Juana María Hernández, a component of the Commercial Department of OP Looije.
