Numerous aguileños and aguileñas joined this weekend to the Solidarity March organized by the Local Board of the AECC.
During the event, the president of the association, Magdalena Ros, and the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, thanked all participants for their collaboration in an activity that seeks, mainly, to raise funds for the investigation of this disease and, at the same time, give visibility and raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis
The Spanish Association against Cancer is a non-profit organization founded in Madrid in 1963. During all this time it has been a pioneer in helping people with cancer and their families.
Its mission is to raise awareness and inform society about this disease.
In addition, it accompanies and gives support to the sick and their families.
Its third pillar is support for research, devoting much of its budget to finding new ways to prevent and fight with cancer.
