The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, leads transparency in the Region of Murcia, according to the third ranking of transparency of mayors and mayors of the Region published today by Dyntra, a collaborative platform that aims to measure the public information of governments, administrations public, political parties, elected officials and the different social actors in a dynamic, efficient, transparent and open way.
The results of the study position Mari Carmen Moreno as the most transparent mayor of the Region of Murcia, with 88.89% compliance with the indicators.
In second position, with five difference indicators, Antonio León (Torre-Pacheco City Council), and José Francisco García (Caravaca de la Cruz City Council) are located with 75%.
By municipalities, Águilas continues to lead the regional transparency indexes and occupy the third position at the national level with 90.74% compliance, less than two tenths below Fuengirola which with 92.59% is at the top of the ranking
"Some data that show that open government remains one of the priority objectives of the Government Team, aware of the importance of going beyond the simple fulfillment of legal requirements regarding transparency and determined to bet on active participation of citizens in municipal matters, "said the mayor of Transparency, Juan Andrés Torres.
The councilor has concluded his intervention by ensuring that "from the Government Team we will continue working making it clear that when we talk about transparency it is because we believe in it; something that is evident in the fact that, as the data show, the management of our mayor is the most transparent in the Region and, in addition, at the municipal level in recent years we have managed to move from a suspense in 2015 (with a valuation of 21.9% in Infoparticipa) to the current 92.381%. "
