The United Podemos coalition, integrated in Águilas by Podemos, Izquierda Unida-Verdes and the Communist Party of Spain, makes the following assessment of the results obtained in Águilas in the general elections of November 10:

We congratulate the town of Águilas for the civic exercise demonstrated during the day yesterday, in which there was no altercation and the electoral process proceeded normally.

We appreciate the trust placed by the 1,449 aquiline and aquiline that yesterday you voted for United We Can.

They are 267 votes less than in the April elections.

The division of the left with the appearance of More Country weakens the space of change.

We congratulate the PSOE for its victory in Águilas.

We alert the rise of the extreme right, with the emergence of Vox as the third political force with about 25% of the vote.

It is necessary to articulate a democratic movement that restrains all threats of fascism to peaceful coexistence in our town.

These elections have learned that unity makes us stronger and that the only way to move towards the transformation of our society is built together with all those people and organizations that want to live in a more just, egalitarian, diverse and democratic municipality.
