The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has lamented this morning the lack of response of the Regional Executive to the numerous requests made to hold work meetings in which to address issues of vital interest to the municipality.
In this regard, the first mayor of Aguileña recalled that "it was on July 29 when I requested in writing the first meeting with the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia to discuss, among other matters, the situation of the Integral Center of High Resolution, the need to expand the training offer in the locality, as well as the actions related to the General Urban Planning Plan, after not receiving an answer, the mayor has continued explaining, last October 15 I reiterated the request having, once again, the quiet one in response, a situation that has also occurred with the Ministry of Development, Education and Culture and Health with whose counselors and counselors I also requested, on August 5, a meeting to address issues of interest to Aguilas without getting an answer to date. "
In this sense, the mayor has indicated that "I think I have waited more than a reasonable time, but I also consider that at this point it is my obligation to publicly denounce a situation where all the citizens of Águilas are harmed."
Finally, Moreno has concluded by ensuring that "in matters such as health and education, local and regional administrations must work together to achieve the best services for citizens, which, in short, is to which we all hold public office we owe ourselves. "
