The Municipal Group of the PP of Águilas has presented a motion to the ordinary plenary session of the month of November so that the body of the Local Police is incorporated into the system of comprehensive monitoring of cases of gender violence in order to address this type of violence from all areas of the administration.

"The Ministry of Interior has drawn up an agreement for the cooperation and collaboration of the Local Police in this system and the City Council of Águilas cannot miss the opportunity to ratify this agreement and show its active participation against these kinds of crimes," he argued. the popular mayor, Rosa Soler, who added that "this will show the most absolute rejection of these crimes of sexist violence that in many cases occur in family intimacy and there the victim is weaker."

The 'popular' has recalled that the Popular Municipal Group has already presented and approved in July 2017 a motion in the same terms without "the date agreed in that plenary session has been carried out" so, in words de Soler, it is necessary to implement this proposal that is being carried out in many consistories in Spain.
