"The sun rises. Tribute to Les Miserables" became last Saturday the great winner of the XVI edition of the Paco Rabal National Amateur Theater Contest during a gala held at the Infanta Doña Elena Auditorium and Congress Hall , led by Inés López and Alonso Paredes and marked by the continuous memory and tribute to the actress Asunción Balaguer, who died that same morning.
The musical work of the company La Barbarie Musical Theater won the second Prize for the Best Work, in addition to the desired Special Prize of the Public.
He also won the Best Male Interpreter Award for Jesus Trinidad;
the Best Supporting Actress, who was picked up by Ana Luque;
that of Best Supporting Actor, who went to Rudi Castañeda;
and the Best Set Design Award and Azarías Award for the best senior performance that the Milana Bonita Association presented to Luisfer Ramírez.
"Huanita" by Teatro en Construcción won the first prize of the contest, in addition to the Best Direction, Best Lighting and Nazarin Prize, also awarded by the Milana Bonita Association, to Laura Lorenzo for her interpretation of Mrs. Imelda.
He completed the record of the night The most crude company of the theater to achieve the third prize of the contest with the play "Woyzeck".
After a ceremony full of applause, thanks and emotions the mayor of culture, Maido Simó, closed this XVI Edition of the Contest, and gave way to the work "The Funeral", performed by Concha Velasco and Jordi Rebellón, who achieved the unanimous applause of All the audience.
