Since November 26, the workers of the Agrícola Aguileña (Agrasa) company have begun an indefinite strike in defense of their labor rights.
The Company Committee has denounced delays in the payment of payroll, "having workers who have not received their full salary since September," they point out from the unions.
Given this situation, the local assembly of the United Left-Greens and the nucleus of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) in Aguilas have made a statement showing their support for striking workers.
From the left organizations they demand "the fulfillment of two essential points: that the company gives guarantees to its employees of the monthly collection of its payroll and that labor inspections are carried out more frequently that control the compliance of the labor legislation in the company" .
