The Agricultural Company Aguileña (Agrasa) is going through a critical situation.
Before the announcement of the collective dismissal of more than four hundred workers, who had been suffering a delay in the collection of their payroll for months, has been called for today, Friday, November 29, a concentration in the Plaza de España at 20:00 hours.
From Izquierda Unida-Verdes and the Communist Party of Spain shows, once again, their solidarity with striking workers, showing "full support for the works councils".
"This afternoon we visited the Agrasa facilities in Águilas and talked with workers and union delegates," says Óscar Pérez, local coordinator of IU.
"Hundreds of families are now in a dramatic situation," which in his opinion "requires the solidarity of the entire town of Aguilas, because in Agrasa a great injustice is being committed."
Thus, IU-Verdes and the PCE call to participate in the concentration convened for this afternoon at 8:00 p.m.
