The head of the regional Executive, Fernando López Miras, received today in the Palace of San Esteban the mayor of Águilas, Mª Carmen Moreno, with whom, among other matters, he addressed the situation of the High Resolution Center that will be installed in the municipality and the possibility of imparting a medium degree of training in Cooking and Restoration in Águilas.
According to the Minister of Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, the basic project for the High Resolution Center has been tendered with an amount of 118,000 euros "as a preliminary step to the start of the works that will allow Águilas to have a health center for 15 specialties and that will decongest the reference hospital of Lorca, allowing the residents of Águilas to have a nearby hospital available in the municipality itself. "
Regarding the implementation of the middle level of Cooking and Restoration, Celdrán stressed that the project to be studied, since "tourism is one of the strategic pillars for the economic policy of the Region of Murcia in the coming years and, therefore, everything that has to do with increasing specialized training and qualification for the tourism field is important. "
