Last Saturday the Casino de Águilas hosted a new "Café y Algo Más", organized by the women's group of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Águilas.
This third meeting was attended by about 70 people, including the mayor of Equality, Elena Casado, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation and representatives of several local associations such as Alzheimer Aguilas and the AECC.
Several sisters from the Baptist Church also attended from Murcia, as well as the president of UMMBE Murcia (Union of Baptist Missionary Women of Spain) Raquel Abellán.
On this occasion it was framed in the events scheduled by the Department of Women on the occasion of the 25N, International Day against Gender Violence.
For that reason, in addition to good conversation and some sweets, Margarita Llabrés, evangelical missionary and social educator (with a master's degree in gender violence), gave an interesting talk about the consequences of violence on women and children.
