The Infanta Doña Elena Auditorium and Congress Hall yesterday hosted the III Aguileña Economy Gala;
an act organized by ACIA and Hosteáguilas that served as a framework for the delivery of the 2019 Business Awards with which the values ​​and the important work of the autonomous and SMEs of the town are recognized.
This edition, marked especially by the continuous memory of the workers of the Aguileña Agrasa company, was chaired by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López, the delegate of the Government in Murcia, Francisco Jiménez, the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, María Cristina Sánchez, and the presidents of ACIA and Hosteáguilas, Dariem Caparrós and Vicente Sánchez.
José Molina (Pescadería Hijos del Niño), Pedro José Segado (Sehamy), Encarnación Ángel (Motos Alonso), Pedro Montalbán (Pinturas Montalbán), Francisco Víctor Manuel Lloret (Ferretería Lloret), Francisco Pérez (Casa del Mar Restaurant), Fernando López and Cornelia Gómez (Tumaca) and Juan Rodríguez (El Tiburon) collected the business legacies from the government delegate and the presidents of the two organizing associations.
Finally it was time to collect the business awards that this year fell to:
Commerce Award: Supermarket Hernández.
Industry Award: Juan Bernés Workshops.
ACIA Entrepreneur Award: Modernícola.
Tourism Promotion Award: Federation of Carnival Peñas.
Ambassador Gastronomic Award: Ginés Restaurant.
Entrepreneur Award Hosteáguilas: La Posada del Galeón.
Honorable mention of the Aguilean economy: Julio Castelo, honorary president of Mapfre.
