The Plenary Session of the Murcia Regional Assembly today unanimously approved an institutional declaration in solidarity with the workers of the agricultural company Agrasa de Aguilas, immersed in a collective dismissal procedure.

In the text, signed by the spokesmen of the five Parliamentary Groups, it is considered “incomprehensible the termination of work of all its employees and the damage that 400 families will suffer”, in a company, “which has diversified its products and increased the volume of production in recent years, exporting lettuce to Europe and Saudi Arabia. ”

The institutional statement shows that the dismissal affects 400 employees in the field, warehouse and offices, and realizes that they have initiated an indefinite strike, demanding that the company pay their salaries, which they did not charge since September, and a definitive solution to the employment situation they are in.
