The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Health;
María Dolores García, held a meeting with the recently appointed Area III manager, Enrique José Casado.
After the meeting, both Moreno and García agreed to value "very positively" a meeting in which the aquiline policies transferred to the manager the numerous needs that the town has in health matters.
Among the most prominent issues, the mayor of Health reiterated to Casado the need to provide a solution to the problem of waiting lists presented by the area and that are especially alarming in specialties such as gynecology.
Likewise, the mayor and the mayor of Health informed the manager about the intention to locate, in municipal offices, an information point for young people in which to address aspects related to affective-sexual education;
an action included in the Persea Program that pursues the objective of improving the level of affective-sexual and reproductive health of the population to which it is addressed.
