The training days of the base team of our town were held on November 18 and 25 in the new facilities of the Águilas Mental Health Association (Afemac).
This training proposal is part of the actions developed by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, is funded by the European Social Fund and aims to implement a coordination protocol socio-health care for people with severe mental disorder and / or drug dependence.
The training focused mainly on the importance of establishing socio-health networks through which the relationship between social, health services and non-profit organizations is facilitated, seeking a multidisciplinary treatment for the resolution of the most complex cases.
The conference was attended by Social Services professionals from the City of Águilas, Mental Health Center, Women's Center and CAVI, PTSCs and counselors from different primary and secondary schools, staff of the Águilas Mental Health Association (Afemac), as well as members of the local police.
The main objective was to transmit to the participants the need for networking as a means of solving complex cases, adding visions of the different agents involved and with the ultimate goal of being decisive in the shortest possible time.
The first of the days was dedicated to the knowledge of the different resources and the theory of networking, and the second was devoted entirely to the approach and resolution of a real case.
From the Águilas Mental Health Association (Afemac), we show our satisfaction with the development of the conference and express our desire to continue in close coordination with the rest of the resources.
