Today Friday is already 18 days of strike of the workers of AGRÃCOLA AGUILEÑA (AGRASA).
As you will remember, the reason for the strike is the repeated delay in the payment of wages, since the company has been breaching this obligation for months.
Currently there are still workers who have not received the month of October and November is without entering anything to anyone.
On the other hand it is followed in the consultation period, since the company agreed to the liquidation of the company and the dismissal of all its workers, in total 481. Although there is a significant number of these people that due to the company's defaults and the closing agreement of this, they have decided to unsubscribe from the company to try to find work in others.
For all this, the Company Committees and the workers have decided to call a demonstration in Águilas, next Friday, December 20, for their rights and against dismissals.
At the same time they ask for the solidarity of the People of Águilas, and for the political parties that present proposals for stable employment for the people affected, but also for the agri-food sector in this municipality.
