The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Councilor for Sports, Cristóbal Casado, received the young gymnast Carolina Castillo Roca, who participated in the Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, held in Zaragoza on 27 from November to December 1.
The Aguileña athlete competed in the junior category, representing the Rhythmic Club of Santomera (Murcia) and played the contest with 40 teams from all over the country, occupying the fourth place in the final phase within her category.
Great feat achieved by this champion, taking into account the relevance of the aforementioned test.
The head of the Local Executive and the person in charge of the Sports area congratulated Carolina for the success achieved, encouraging her to continue along the same lines;
because "with great sacrifice, work and effort come the great rewards," added Mayor Mari Carmen Moreno.
It should be noted that Carolina Castillo Roca is also a champion of the Region of Murcia and a bronze medal in the 2018 Spanish Base Championship.
