"The Socialist Party has done it again, they have only given us 24 hours to the opposition groups to analyze the municipal budgets that will mark the direction of the town next year and the reason is obvious; they did not want us to study them in depth because they are the least social in recent years. "
This is how blunt the spokesperson of the Popular Municipal Group in Águilas, Eva Reverte, has made public, saying that "24 hours are not enough to study and work on municipal budgets, so it is a clear abuse of the opposition" .
The head of the PP has advanced that after analyzing the draft budget "well above the time they have offered us" you can already influence that it is the least social budgets of recent times and are marked by more fiscal pressure, more current spending and less investment to the productive sectors.
Reverte has reminded the mayor that "despite having an absolute majority, the social and political structure in Águilas has changed and we are three more political groups that make up the structure in the City Council" so we must ensure that everyone has a voice the political representatives who "also defend the interests of citizens despite not being ruling."
