The president of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS), Mario Urrea, met today with the mayor of Águilas, María del Carmen Moreno, to study the risks of flooding of the municipality, among other matters.
The Ministry for Ecological Transition provides regional and local governments, through the CHS, with information about the danger of flooding in each population, as well as maps where you can study the possibilities that there are repeated floods.
These data are useful for the planning of municipal urban developments and, in fact, the mayor of Águilas and the president of the Confederation have also addressed the issue of the new general urban planning plan for the town.
Finally, Moreno has been interested in urban planning related to conditions with the channels of the waterways that run through the territory of Águilas, which requires a report from the basin organization.
