The dissemination and historical research project "Dawn 31" begins the year with a cultural activity entitled "Roscón Republicano".
In it, in addition to sharing the typical Christmas sweet of the roscón de reyes, the figure of Manuel Azaña will be honored in an act enlivened by a poetry recital open to the participation of any of the attendees.
Manuel Azana was one of the most visible leaders of the Second Republic, occupying the presidency of the Council of Ministers on several occasions (1931-1933 and 1936) and of the Spanish Republic itself (1936-1939).
The reason for this tribute is the commemoration of the 140th anniversary of his birth, on January 10, 1880.
The event will take place at the Sapphire bar (c / Alfonso Ortega Carmona, 4) next Sunday, January 12, starting at 11:00 a.m.
