The Department of Tourism and Hosteáguilas will promote in FITUR the excellence of its gastronomic offer, an offer based on fresh products from our town and dishes that reinterpret traditional flavors, innovative culinary proposals and excellent chefs and kitchen and room staff.
A gastronomic potential that has already shown its strength in the recent edition of Madrid Fusión, by the hand of Juanfran Paredes, chef of "El Refugio de Juanfran", and that will continue to be shown in the events in which Águilas will be present, framed in the Spanish Gastronomic Capital that this year has corresponded to Murcia.
During the show, on Thursday 23, at 5:00 pm, the video "Águilas, gastronomic destination of the Mediterranean" will be presented, in which a tour is made of cutting-edge dishes, natural products and the hands that cook them.
Then, there will be two tastings of gastronomic products from Aguila.
In addition to this presentation, a dozen meetings will be held with companies from the tourism and technology sector, and the necessary support will be provided to local businesses in meetings held with tour operators.
On Thursday night, the Councilor for Tourism will attend, at the Crystal Palace of Cibeles, the Q Night, organized by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality - ICTE, which will collect the badges that accredit the quality of various establishments and tourist services, public and private, of our locality.
