As in previous years, Águilas Plaza Shopping Center joins the Fiesta Grande, making it easier for carnivals to park for free in their car park.

This was explained by the manager of the Shopping Center, Gema Simó, at the meeting that took place this morning at the City Hall of Águilas, and in which he was accompanied by the mayor of Carnival, Cristóbal Casado, and the mayor of Mayores , Encarna Navarro.

Thanks to this initiative, the City Council of Águilas expands the parking areas that will be enabled to serve the many people who attend the Eguilas Carnival, Festival of International Tourist Interest.

Cristóbal Casado has commented that the collaboration of the aforementioned shopping center "will make it possible, once again, to considerably expand the number of parking available", aimed mainly at people who will visit the city during the two strong weekends of the Eagles Carnival.

The manager of the Shopping Center, Gema Simó, explained that "the Águilas Plaza Shopping Center is near and at the service of the Aguileños and visitors who want to enjoy these Carnival days. With the aim of decongesting the circulation of the Urban Center and facilitating the arduous work of finding where to leave the car on these busy days, we have made available to the City Council our 1,044 parking spaces. "

The free parking of 'Águilas Plaza' will be open to the public during the 24 hours of each of the "strong" days of the Fiesta;

that is, on 21, 22, 28 and 29, and on Sunday 23 until 1 in the morning.

The mayor of Carnival has informed that the public parking located next to the Renfe Station will also be operational, specifically on Juan Pablo II Street, which will be free and guarded, with about four hundred parking spaces.

They are also advisable, due to its breadth and proximity to the parade area, the existing parking lots in the El Rubial and Las Yucas urbanizations.

Finally, he has asked citizens to use their vehicles only as essential as possible, "since the main arteries will be cut off to traffic during the celebration of carnival events," while emphasizing that "the important thing is enjoy Carnival to the fullest, without having to worry about the car, so we are all working together to provide citizens and visitors with fun and trouble-free days. "

Therefore, one more year will celebrate its traditional Carnival Party, in which the two Nursing Homes, the Alzheimer Eagles Association, the Aguilas Down Association (Fundown), the AFEMAC Association and the Urci Occupational Center participate.

For the fifth consecutive year, Carnival will be welcomed with a good breakfast at Coffee Center, followed by the election of the Carnival Kings and Queens of each of these entities, and will end with a fun shell battle, between dances and laughs .

Also the Free Children's Club of the Shopping Center will be filled with feathers and sequins dedicating this week's games to the Carnival (remember that this toy library is open for free every Sunday of the year, with different themes for children every week and two qualified monitors to carry out the workshops).
